Plans, Policies And Initiatives
The Alaska Workforce Investment Board (AWIB) is required to report to the Legislature each year on the performance and evaluation of training programs within its purview, as specified by Alaska Statute 23.15.580(b)(9). The Board reviews reports prepared by the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development's Research and Analysis Section, as well as its efforts and initiatives to improve the quantity and quality of available training.
